A refurbishment contract for the new ARV clinic, located in Cullinan, was awarded to our company, Bronzegate (Pty) Ltd.

The Clinic will consist of a pharmacy, dietician's office, five councelling rooms, three consultation rooms, group counselling area, social worker's office, data room, reception area, records room, waiting area, staff meeting room, staff office  patient toilet facilities (one fully equipped paraplegic toilet), staff toilets and two store rooms.

The clinic is expected to open, ahead of scheduled time, at the end of August 2006.

FPD is a South African health sector educational and development organisation established in October 1997 by the South African Medical Association. In 2000 FPD was registered as a separate legal entity (registration no. 2000/002641/07).

Where do we work:

FPD works in Southern and Eastern Africa and will in 2007 expand its activities to Western Africa.
What do we do:

FPD focuses its activities in the following areas:

  • Education - We provide clinical and management training  to healthcare professionals and managers.
  • Conference organisation - FPD organise local and international conferences.
  • Research and technical assistance - FPD undertakes both contract and academic research and provide consultancy and technical assistance to health sector organisations.
  • Capacity development - FPD has numerous projects designed to improve capacity in health organisations.
